Sunflower Trail Press accepts a limited number of manuscripts from authors and illustrators working in areas aligned with our catalog.
What We Publish

gentle, imaginative picture books

stories inspired by hobbies, animals, self-care, and nature

cozy, thoughtful narratives with a clear sense of place and tone
As a small independent press, projects are considered selectively and evaluated for voice, craft, and suitability for our list.
Materials to Include
• a brief introduction
• a short project description
• intended audience / age range
• 1–2 sample chapters (or 3–5 spreads for picture books)
• a link to illustrations, if applicable
Sunflower Trail Press is currently reviewing manuscripts for the
2026–2027 publishing seasons.
Only applicants whose projects are under consideration will receive a response.
