Buddy and Ash are two happy cats who live in a big house in Kansas. Ash was born in Kansas, and Buddy arrived as a tiny kitten who found his forever home with the Sunflower family. They share their days with their humans, Cole and C. C. Sunflower, exploring the world and finding joy in everyday.

Ash works as an exterminator, and Buddy is beginning his journey into the trades as he learns what he enjoys and who he is becoming. Their stories blend cultural adventures with simple country fun, showing young readers that imagination, curiosity, and kindness can turn ordinary moments into something special.
